Benjamin was searching for more meaning and purpose in life when he found yoga. He took many classes at the different studios in New York not necessarily looking for a teacher but just enjoying the yoga practice. He was blessed enough to find himself in the studio of Sri Dharma Mittra one day, The Dharma Yoga Center. There he became a certified 200 hour yoga instructor in 2003 and in 2007 certified at the 500 hour level. There he was an assistant and apprentice and learned much about yoga asanas, meditation, the different forms of yoga and the importance of Karma Yoga. In 2009 Benjamin moved to Miami to find more sunshine and to leave the big city of New York behind. He now teaches yoga full time and is enjoying sharing the blessing of higher consciousness with others. Benjamins tries his best to teach yoga the way it was taught to him in the classical Hatha-Raja form. He still travels back to NY frequently to train with his teacher and visit his family. Benjamin is also a musician who produced 3 albums of music and
meditation for yoga with his beloved partner Radha Krishna Lila.

Once upon a time there was a young boy who wanted to integrate three very important aspects of his life; body, mind and spirit. The search began when one good day he found a book about metaphysics in his native Puerto Rico. The information provided by this book and others was so amazing that it opened up a whole new way of thinking in his mind, reminding him how powerful the human being is.
